Today’s photo challenge is sunset.

I was going to use this photo:

because, well, it is the son and it is “set” in the tree…but that is a bit of a stretch, even for my creative lisense!

So, I choose this one. Because it is the image of my son, set by the sun. And well, creative license? Yeah, I gots it!

I miss him. It has been too long and it will be longer.

I miss our talks.

I miss my morning coffee buddy.

Last time he was home, he asked me to show him how to shave. Not his father. Not his grandfather. Not his uncle. But me.

I’m his mom. He’s my boy.

No matter how much time or distance seperates us, we are still that close.

I taught my boy how to shave.

He is becoming a man.

I am still trying to figure out how that is even remotely possible.
